360 News: May Day 2015, Montreal Protest
Created as part of my Master's thesis for Ryerson University, May Day is an interactive VR news piece that allows the user to explorer the different points of a heated demonstration in Montreal, Québec. As the user navigates the streets, he is also able to select bystanders and get more information from them about the unfolding of the event.
The full experience is app made for Cardboard.
Below is a 360 version of May Day
May Day was awarded a Digi Award from Next Media in 2015 for its innovative approach to news media.
